PechaKucha Night Chicago #39

Description

PechaKucha Night Chicago is back the day after Labor Day for Volume 39!

We're thrilled to welcome Melissa Harris as co-host - she'll introduce another night of engaging presentations in the famous 20x20 format. Read more about the Volume 39 presenters here.

EVENT STARTS PROMPTLY AT 8:00PM. DOORS AT 6:00PM.

PechaKucha ペチャクチャ , or “chit chat” in Japanese, is a concise presentation style, comprised of twenty slides at a duration of twenty seconds each that advance automatically. This format, devised by Tokyo-based KleinDytham Architecture, powers multi-speaker events called PechaKucha Nights. PKNs invite creatives of all fields to meet, present projects, and exchange ideas in 900+ cities around the world. PechaKucha has a global reputation for an eclectic mix of artists, activists, musicians, comedians, designers, architects, filmmakers, photographers, writers, mountaineers, et al coming together to make their patented PechaKucha presentation in front of an attentive audience.

Take a creative snapshot in front of our PechaKucha banner - when it gets posted to our Facebook page, the one with the most "Likes" gets a bunch of beer tokens for Volume 40.
